New Fully Funded eLearning to Boost SME Apprentice Performance and Retention
Small and medium-sized employers across the cleaning and hygiene sector are set to benefit from a new suite of fully funded eLearning courses designed to help them support their apprentices, which will be launched during National Apprenticeship Week (9 th -15 th February 2026).
Fully-funded by the Department for Education, so at no cost to the employer, the four flexible modules have been designed specifically around the realities SMEs face when supporting apprentices day to day. The aim is simple: give employers the confidence, tools and practical know-how to help apprentices thrive — and, in turn, strengthen workforce performance and
retention.
Many SMEs report similar challenges when it comes to guiding apprentices effectively.
These new courses tackle those challenges head-on, offering ready-to-use templates, checklists and prompts, alongside real examples from SME employers who have been there before.
- What SMEs can expect:
- Practical tools and templates you can apply immediately
- Real SME case insights to help you navigate common challenges
- Simple, effective tactics proven to improve motivation, progress and retention
- All fully funded, with no cost to your business.
The programme is designed to be flexible — employers can dip in and out at their own pace, making it easy to fit around operational demands.
The courses will go live during National Apprenticeship Week 2026. SMEs can find out more and register their interest here:
