In-person courses with the British Chemicals Association (BCA)
Whether or not you enjoyed chemistry lessons in school, chemistry impacts on all of our lives every day.
From the water we drink and the food we eat to the personal care and cleaning products we use, chemistry is everywhere.
Within the cleaning and hygiene sector, chemicals play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene. But have you ever wondered about how formulations are developed, the research and development that goes on behind the scenes, or how chemicals are regulated?
The British Chemicals Association (BCA) represents 120 organisations working across all areas of the chemicals industry and plays a key role in providing training and development opportunities in the sector.
This autumn, the BCA is hosting several sessions at the Cranage Estate in Cheshire and the UK Cleaning Career Development Zone is delighted to highlight two of these courses:
- Microbiology for the Non-Microbiologist - Tuesday October 28
The course has been designed for non-microbiologists or those with a limited knowledge of microbiology and is suitable for technical professionals who haven’t studied microbiology as a taught subject and non-technical professionals such as sales and marketing personnel.
- Surfactants and their Applications - Thursday October 30
These events not only deepen technical knowledge but also foster strategic thinking around product development and compliance. For professionals navigating the complexities of chemical formulation, regulation, and innovation, the BCA’s training programme offers a valuable platform for growth and sector alignment.
