Three-day course offers the key to carpet cleaning success

If you are looking to acquire the skills needed to flourish in the world of carpet cleaning, the Professional Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning Training Course, offered by the experts in the field, the National Carpet Cleaners Association (NCCA) (www.ncca.co.uk), is the ideal course for you.

This three-day course combines hands-on experience with classroom education and is meticulously structured to cover all the bases.

Students benefit from live demonstrations, hands-on experience with machinery and the opportunity to ask questions throughout.

This interactive learning environment blends theory and practical experience to improve understanding and boost knowledge retention.

Attendees will learn about a wide array of cleaning methods, from basic to advanced topics, suitable for a range of cleaning scenarios. That includes insights into the equipment and application processes for both carpet and upholstery cleaning, so carpet cleaning professionals can choose the right methods for their needs and budget.

Students will learn the essentials to avoid costly mistakes - such as chemical damage to wool, fibre distortion, or improper moisture use leading to mould or shrinkage.

At the end of the course, students sit a multiple-choice paper and successful learners will receive a certificate. The pass rate is around 80 per cent.

Those passing have the opportunity to apply for membership to the sector’s industry body, the NCCA, and to continue their professional development.

Professional Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning Training Course is suitable for a wide-range of participants.

It is ideal for newcomers to professional carpet cleaning, while established carpet cleaning professionals will be able to upgrade their skills and contribute to higher standards of service. It is ideal for start-ups or as a bolt-on for existing cleaning businesses, allowing companies to offer a professional service to customers.

The first two days run from 9am – 5pm, while the final day finishes half an hour early. Fees apply and the course is internally accredited.
